Why travelers stop here
Incheon Bridge is a 21.38 km long, six-lane round-trip road, making it the longest cable-stayed bridge in South Korea and the fifth longest in the world. The bridge's main tower rises 238.5 meters from the sea, comparable to the height of the 63 Building. The piers supporting the bridge are robust enough to withstand impacts of 100,000 tons, earthquakes of magnitude 7.0, and strong winds of up to 72 m/s. The British construction magazine Construction News selected the construction of Incheon Bridge as one of the 'World's Top 10 Amazing Construction Projects'. Domestic and international civil engineering experts unhesitatingly rank Incheon Bridge among the world's three most beautiful bridges. The night view is particularly enchanting, and nearby there is the Incheon Bridge Memorial Hall, which displays detailed information on the construction process from the start to the completion of the Incheon Bridge project, as well as the technological prowess of domestic bridge construction.
