Hoena Restaurant

Located right in front of Deokjeokdo Jinri Ferry Terminal, Hoena showcases the true taste of Deokjeokdo using seasonal seafood and wild greens from the area, as well as vegetables freshly picked from their own garden. In spring, they serve flounder, skate, and blue crab; in summer, conch and cuttlefish; in autumn, webfoot octopus; and in winter, they steam or stew dried fish prepared according to the season. A dish available year-round is skate, which is abundant on Deokjeokdo. Skate can be prepared in various ways such as raw fish salad, steamed, or stewed, and it is a delicious ingredient with nothing to waste. The spicy, sour, and sweet skate sashimi, which has a crunchy texture, is a popular set meal and dish.
