Seongbuk Media Culture Maru is a complex cultural facility established by Seoul Metropolitan Government and Seongbuk-gu to provide cultural complex facilities such as a library, performance hall, and swimming pool for local residents in the northeastern area of Seoul, which lacks basic convenience facilities. It was also designed as a media hub space to support media education and startup incubation in line with the growing importance of media. The facility spans from basement level 2 to ground level 4, with a total floor area of 9,484㎡. On basement level 1, there is a sports facility (Mulbit Swimming Pool); from ground level 1 to 3, there is a public library (Geulbit Library) and the Seoul Citizens' Media Center; and on ground level 4, there is a performance hall (Kkumbit Theater) with approximately 320 seats.
