Dakbakgol Recreation Forest

Dakbakgol Recreation Forest Campground is a campsite that retains the purity of nature. Located in the forest, the campsite is popular for its dense trees that provide shade. Considering children's safety, the sites are made only of grass and coarse gravel. Divided into three zones, the sites are spacious enough to accommodate large tents with room to spare. Site A is close to the store, restrooms, and showers, while Sites B and C face each other across a road. Each site has a sink conveniently installed, and electrical distribution boxes are located nearby, eliminating the need for long extension cords. Vehicles can be parked in front of the site. Children enjoy running and playing freely on the grass within the campground. In summer, there is a pond-style swimming pool decorated with stones, allowing visitors to enjoy water activities in the valley. The campground's store is operated unattended; visitors write their site number and purchased items in the provided notebook and settle the payment upon checkout. There are many walking trails along the valley around the campground. Small waterfalls can be seen along the way, making the walk enjoyable without boredom. The well-maintained clean restrooms and shower rooms include a powder room for convenience. Nearby attractions include Gipiul Valley, Herb Island, Bears Town, Yeoldugaeul Valley, Wangbang Mountain, Korea National Arboretum, and Sanjeong Lake.
