Destination briefing
Why travelers stop here
Located close to the Seoul metropolitan area, Yongin Neungjigol Camping Site is situated at the foot of Gubongsan Mountain. Gubongsan Mountain is said to resemble a turtle crawling from the sea to land to lay eggs, and its dense forests and well-maintained hiking trails make it ideal for a light climb while camping. Additionally, the campsite itself is nestled inside the mountain foothills, offering a cozy and comfortable atmosphere along with expansive views. The directly operated farm features various fruit trees, flowers, and a natural pond, allowing visitors to truly enjoy nature and heal in the midst of it. The space is divided into three levels, and the distance between sites is relatively narrow. However, the advantage is that the sites are separated by levels, providing good mountain views from anywhere. The shower rooms and restrooms are kept clean, and the sinks are equipped with refrigerators to keep brought food cool. Nearby attractions include Waujeongsa Temple, Yongin Rural Theme Park, Saam Reservoir, Catholic Pilgrimage Trail, Everland, and Hantaek Botanical Garden, offering good accessibility.
