[Gyeonggi Old Road Ganghwa-gil Course 4] Hannam Jeongmaek-gil (Tongjin Cathedral Entrance Bus Stop ~ Ganghwa Bridge (Seongdong Checkpoint))

Located at the northwesternmost point of the Hannam Jeongmaek range, Munsusan Mountain (376m) is a place where one can reflect on the harmony of mountains and waters and the history of division. Tongjinhyanggyo Confucian Academy, once the center of humanities and intellect in old Tongjin, and the Gimpo International Sculpture Park, the only park in the world themed around 'peace' and 'unification,' display 30 works by 16 world-renowned sculptors. In particular, Munsusanseong Fortress, as a gateway to the waterways, holds a vivid history of fierce battles against foreign invasions, and also offers views of Songaksan Mountain in Gaeseong, North Korea.
