Jeongdok Public Library is a Seoul municipal public library that opened in January 1977 on the site of the former Gyeonggi High School in Bukchon, Jongno-gu, Seoul. It holds approximately 490,000 volumes of books and over 16,300 non-book materials, and its affiliated Seoul Education Archive houses over 12,000 educational historical materials. In addition to book lending, reading room and resource room use, it operates cultural programs such as monthly author invitation lectures, photo exhibitions, book clubs, puppet shows, concerts, and dance performances. In spring, cherry blossoms fully bloom around Jeongdok Public Library, making it a popular dating spot, and the nearby Samcheong Park hosts the Samcheong-dong Cherry Blossom Festival.
