Gallery Joseon

Since its opening in 2004, Gallery Joseon has introduced works by artists who create important trends in the Korean art scene. Now in its 20th year of operation, the gallery has selected artists and presented their works while contemplating what voices can be expressed.

Gallery Joseon works with artists who consider the expandability of their chosen media and strive not to isolate art from society, respecting and supporting their beautiful artistic worlds. Since 2015, the gallery has been documenting video records of artists working with Gallery Joseon and supporting various activities such as international exchange exhibitions, striving to illuminate and widely promote their artistic worlds. We firmly believe that such efforts leave beautiful traces in art and society, contributing to sustaining the infinitely fragile world of art.
