Hareubang

Hareubang is a specialty restaurant located in Buknae-myeon, Yeoju-si, offering Jeju white pork charcoal-grilled samgyeopsal (pork belly) and sanghwang mushroom duck baek-suk (duck soup). When ordering the Jeju white pork large platter, you can enjoy ogyeopsal (five-layer pork belly), gabrisal (blade meat) or hangjeongsal (pork collar), and steamed eggs. The sanghwang mushroom duck baek-suk is made by simmering homegrown sanghwang mushrooms and healthy herbal ingredients with duck. The duck meat is tender and easily separated from the bones, making it easy to eat. Chewy glutinous rice is served, so it is also good for making porridge. The rich broth of the baek-suk is a special stock made with medicinal herbs and sanghwang mushrooms, giving it a deep and refreshing unique flavor. The baek-suk takes 1 hour to cook, so reservations are essential.
