Kt&g Sangsangmadang Hongdae

KT&G Sangsang Madang is a multi-cultural complex that opened in September 2007 in front of the Hongdae Festival Street. Before the opening of the multi-cultural complex, Sangsang Madang had already started online in the fields of photography, comics, literature, and short films, and over about three years of active operation, it solidified its position. The multi-cultural complex Sangsang Madang, established in front of Hongdae, expanded its creative support and activity scope by adding the fields of music, art, design, and performance to the four areas previously operated online. It includes a cinema, performance hall, design square, gallery, academy, photo darkroom, and café, providing support for artists' cultural and artistic creative activities and offering cultural enjoyment opportunities to the general public. Through spaces designed for various purposes including performances, films, exhibitions, education, and design, it presents and shares trends in diverse cultural and artistic fields, contributing to the creation of new culture.
