Hongdae Nanta Theatre

Hongdae NANTA Theater is a performance hall designed exclusively for NANTA, with 323 seats. The space is decorated with lighting and stage sets that maximize the fun and effect of the performance. NANTA is a non-verbal performance where kitchen utensils such as knives and cutting boards transform into wonderful musical instruments, consisting only of rhythm, beat, and situations. It is a performance that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and genders around the world, and it presents an exciting and splendid stage that allows the audience to fully immerse themselves, using the excellent rhythm of pungak (traditional Korean percussion music) that has been recognized for its originality worldwide. The theater is located in the heart of Hongdae, 430m from Exit 9 of Hongdae Entrance Station on Seoul Subway Line 2, and is visited by many domestic audiences as well as foreign audiences.
