The business name, Neungrado, is the name of an island in the Daedong River in Pyongyang, South Pyongan Province. The signature dish, Pyongyang naengmyeon, is a local food from the Pyongyang region made with noodles drawn from 100% pure buckwheat flour served in cold broth. All noodles at Neungrado are self-milled, and the food is served in heavy organic bowls. The Neungrado dedicated parking lot offers valet parking only, and payment must be made in cash or by bank transfer.
