Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education Dongdaemun Library is a public library under the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education, which opened in March 1971 and holds over 250,000 materials. It operates various programs to provide local residents with knowledge information and opportunities for self-realization and self-development. In 1996, an electronic information room was established, and from July 1997, all collections became available for borrowing. The library has a total of 510 seats, including General Materials Room 1 and 2, a Children's Room, an Audiovisual Room, a Lecture Room, and a Self-Study Room. Materials can be found and used directly in each room, and borrowing and reservation of materials are also possible. Additionally, a night reservation loan service is provided for visitors who come to the library at night to pick up materials.
