Gabaewon

Located in Deokdong Cultural Village, 'Gabaewon' is a hanok café hidden within an aged traditional house, tangible cultural heritage, and a dense pine forest. Upon entering, friendly cats greet you first. It is a peaceful and serene place where you can take a break from the city, amidst a space with renovated pavilion pillars and beams, harmonized with antique props and paintings drawn by the owner.

The menu includes coffee and basic drinks, but we recommend the 5-year-aged omija tea, ginger tea, 100-year-old aged black tea from Yunnan, China, spinach pizza, and fig rye bread—simple yet deep natural flavors that suit the traditional house.
