Ga-eun Ajagae Market is located in Ga-eun-eup, Mungyeong-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do. In the past, it thrived as it was situated near a mining village, but the market's function declined after the mine was closed. Later, in 2011, Ajagae Market was reborn as an experiential cultural tourism market. The market recreates a Joseon-era marketplace. It features thatched-roof shops, a blacksmith's forge, a pottery experience center, a market mill, and other elements that evoke a folk village atmosphere. At the market, visitors can purchase various wild vegetables such as pine mushrooms, bracken fern, deodeok, angelica tree shoots, and chamnamul, which are harvested from places like Daeyasan Mountain.
