Why travelers stop here
Gangbyeon Sari Village Camping Site is located in Gangbyeon Sari Village, Deokchi-myeon, Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk State. Gangbyeon Sari Village is a village formed by four villages—Muluri, Iljung-ri, Jangam-ri, and Cheondam-ri—under one brand, and the camping site is jointly operated by the village residents. Within the village, there is a literature museum dedicated to poet Kim Yong-taek, famous as the Seomjin River poet, and as an agricultural and fishing experience village, the exchange center offers educational facilities, meeting rooms, and cooking spaces for various experiential activities. The camping site boasts overall clean facilities, with showers, restrooms, and sinks all powered by solar energy, making it an eco-friendly facility. Thanks to this, regardless of sunlight, you can use warm water heated by the sun. Located along the Seomjin River, known as a clean area, you can enjoy water activities and even primitive camping by the water. Additionally, you can fish for species like freshwater snails and Korean perch, so bringing ingredients for spicy fish stew allows you to cook your catch. There is also a walking path where poet Kim Yong-taek strolled for inspiration, perfect for a slow walk immersed in literary contemplation or a refreshing bike ride.
