Why travelers stop here
Located on a quiet beach below Sacheondaegyo Bridge, Geobukseon Village Camping Ground is operated by a village steeped in history. This is the site of the Battle of Sacheon during the Imjin War, where Admiral Yi Sun-sin first deployed the turtle ship (Geobukseon) to defeat Japanese vessels, a place where the spirit of Chungmugong (Admiral Yi) still lives. It offers various agricultural and fishing village programs and special experience opportunities, and is equipped with facilities for outdoor activities such as a camping ground and a futsal court. The 10 sites feature spacious deck facilities that can accommodate large tents over 6m in size, and multiple fixed pegs around the deck make tent setup convenient. It is a resting space where you can relax comfortably while facing the beautiful and enchanting scenery of the sea off Sacheon. It is popular with family tourists, and tidal flat experiences can be enjoyed at the Bujangyo Tidal Flat Exploration Trail.
