As a landmark of Geoje City equipped with comprehensive cultural and arts center functions, the Geoje Culture & Arts Center, architecturally modeled after a [sailboat] sailing with a fair wind, is located in a place overlooking Jangseungpo Port. For the development of culture and arts and the cultivation of citizens' emotions, it is equipped with modern facilities such as a large performance hall, a small performance hall, an exhibition hall, an Art Sports Center for the whole family to enjoy together, and high-quality Hotel Art for the convenience of tourists, providing high-level programs as an open cultural and arts space. Opened on October 21, 2003, the Geoje Culture & Arts Center has a site area of 25,749㎡ and a total floor area of 20,243㎡, with the main building consisting of 2 underground floors and 3 above-ground floors, and the annex consisting of 1 underground floor and 4 above-ground floors. Major facilities include the main building's large theater (1,209 seats), small theater (424 seats), exhibition hall, cafeteria, multi-purpose room, dressing rooms, VIP room, practice rooms, and the annex's Geoje Munhwa Jieum (under remodeling) and swimming pool (25m, 6 lanes).
