Gyeongwon Haemuljjim

Located in Sanbuk-dong, Gunsan, Gyeongwon Haemuljjim is a specialty restaurant known for its generous portions and seafood-rich haemuljjim (spicy steamed seafood) and agwijjim (spicy steamed monkfish). Compared to other places, the haemuljjim here is reasonably priced, and the seafood such as cuttlefish, conch, and abalone is fresh and large in size. In particular, the cuttlefish in the haemuljjim is plump yet more tender than thin squid, and the abalone is chewy and soft. After the haemuljjim meal, fried rice made with the remaining sauce is popular. This place may close early due to ingredient depletion, so it is advisable to check business hours before visiting.
