Gosan Yun Seon-do Museum

This is a museum dedicated to Gosan Yun Seon-do (1587–1671), a civil official of the Joseon Dynasty and one of the foremost figures in Korean literature. Located in Haenam, at the land's end, the Gosan Yun Seon-do Museum houses 1,775 cultural heritage items left by the Haenam Yun clan, including Gosan Yun Seon-do and Gongjae Yun Du-seo, who pursued practical learning and pioneered an innovative world of painting with outstanding artistic sensibility.

The museum displays numerous cultural properties, including the self-portrait of Gongjae Yun Du-seo (1668–1715) (National Treasure No. 240), the Haenam Yun Clan Family Painting Album (Treasure No. 481), the Documents Related to Yun Gosan's Writings (Treasure No. 482), and the Slave Documents of the 14th Year of the Jeongjong Era (Treasure No. 483), along with artifacts reflecting the lives and culture of the Eochoeun-gong branch of the Haenam Yun clan. It is a place where visitors can observe the scholarship and art of the Haenam Yun family, as well as experience the cultural exchanges of numerous scholars and artists.
