Goegang National Leisure Camping Site

Goegang National Leisure Camping Site is located in Goegang-eup, Goesan-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do. It is approximately 4km from Goesan County Office, and can be reached by car via Imkkeokjeong-ro, Munmu-ro, and Goegang-ro in sequence. The travel time is about 10 minutes. The site is adjacent to the road, making access convenient. The camping site has 52 general camping spots on grass and 5 private caravan spots. The size of each spot is 7m wide by 8m long. Fire pits, electricity, and wireless internet are available. Personal trailers and caravans are also allowed. The camping site operates in spring, summer, and autumn, and reservations are accepted only online in real time. Pets are not allowed. A large youth training facility is located near the camping site, providing a pleasant surrounding environment, and tourist attractions such as the Hwangto History Museum are also nearby, making it easy to combine sightseeing. Additionally, there is a spicy stew restaurant famous for its freshwater spicy stew made with mandarin fish and yellowhead catfish in the vicinity.
