Guri Children's Astronomical Observatory

Opened in 2020, this astronomical observatory for children is close to the city while still allowing celestial observation. On the 3rd floor of the building, astronomy classes are held, and on the 4th floor, there is a star observatory where you can directly observe stars through a telescope. The astronomy class programs are diverse, ranging from daily experiences to family-oriented programs. Emphasis is placed not just on simply viewing stars but on connecting them to thought, so theoretical lectures using audiovisual materials are also included in the curriculum. The class content covers astronomy, and you can also study constellations in real-time via live streaming. A total of 4 lecture rooms, a parent waiting area, a dome facility, and a rooftop observatory are in operation, and it has 10 small-aperture telescopes and 1 large-aperture telescope.
