The Gangdong Book Festival is a reading culture festival hosted by the Gangdong Cultural Foundation and organized by the Gangdong-gu Public Libraries, celebrating its 16th year this year. This festival is held to commemorate the opening of the Gangdong Central Library under the theme 'THE LIBRARY: Library +' at the Gangdong Central Library and Dunchon 1-dong Neighborhood Park. It features a lecture titled 'Communication for a Happy Life' by announcer Han Seok-jun, a reading with piano performance by announcer Park Hye-jin, a promotional photo zone for Gangdong-gu Public Libraries, and a goods promotion booth. Various publishers, bookstores, and partner organizations such as Kyobo Book Centre e-books, Across, Daram Publishing, Bookworm, National Geographic, Signature Library, Onip, and the Korean Braille Library will also participate.
