Guleopdo

Guleopdo is called the Galapagos of Korea and is an untouched, mysterious island. It is a place that has been praised as a must-visit destination for Koreans, accompanied by many accolades, and is a very beautiful island. Tourist attractions include Guleop Beach and the ferry dock, but due to the small population, there are virtually no convenience facilities. Most of the island is surrounded by mountainous terrain, giving it a strong natural atmosphere, with artificial facilities being rare or nonexistent. However, thanks to this, the pristine natural environment remains intact, and with little light pollution, the Milky Way can be fully observed on summer nights, making Gaemeori Hill a continuous destination for campers.

This small island has a total population of fewer than 20 people. Major tourist attractions include Deokmulsan, Yeonpyeongsan, Gaemeori Hill, Tokkiseom (Rabbit Island), and Kkoksiribawi (Elephant Rock), and it has two beaches: Guleop Beach and Mokgimi Beach. With its vast natural grasslands, diverse coastline, and scenic views of the island and sea from the mountains, it is highly popular among photographers and backpackers. Guleopdo, where you can enjoy the sky, sea, and grasslands all at once, boasts such magnificent scenery that the nickname 'Galapagos of Korea' almost feels insufficient.
