Why travelers stop here
Guljeon Yeoga Camping Site is located in Guljeon Village, Pyeongsa-ri, Dolsan-eup, Yeosu-si, Jeollanam-do. This camping site was created by Yeosu City after purchasing the former Guljeon Elementary School, a closed school, and is managed by Yeosu MBC. The classrooms have been remodeled and are used as accommodation facilities and seminar rooms. The camping site has a well-marked facility guide map, making it easy to find various facilities. The ground is tiled, and auxiliary facilities such as restrooms, showers, cooking areas, and laundry rooms are well equipped. In addition, there is a sea黄土 olle-gil (walking path) on one side of the camping site, which can be used as a walking trail.
Guljeon Yeoga Camping Site has many things to see and do in the surrounding area. As the village name suggests, it is a village where oysters are abundant, and oyster farms are spread out along the Guljeon coast in front of the camping site. Also, every late autumn, whooper swans, designated as natural monuments, fly in flocks and display their elegant appearance until early March. In addition, famous tourist attractions such as Hyangiram (a sunrise viewing spot), Bangjukpo Beach, Museumul Beach, and the Jeonnam Fisheries Science Museum are nearby, making it possible to combine trips.
