Geumsan Bogoksangol Wild Cherry Blossom Festival

The Bogoksangol Village where the event is held is the largest natural habitat of wild cherry blossoms in Korea, with the splendid wild cherry blossoms covering a vast mountain area of approximately 10 million square meters. In addition, it is a pollution-free clean area where Cornus kousa, Weigela subsessilis, Spiraea prunifolia, Rhododendron mucronulatum, Lindera obtusiloba, and other plants grow naturally, all competing to bloom. Moreover, various unnamed wildflowers bloom charmingly, making the trail from 'Boineyo-gil' to 'Jajinbaengi-gil' a pleasant walking path perfect for chatting with the flowers.
