Why travelers stop here
A charcoal fire rib specialty restaurant located in Geumseong-myeon, Hadong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do. Owner Lee Yeon-suk, who once worked in Hadong-eup, couldn't suppress her urge to run a restaurant and impulsively opened this place, which has now been 14 years. She started with confidence in her cooking skills, and as customers came, she found it enjoyable and her pride grew. This place is her husband's hometown, making it ideal for running a restaurant, as she can get plenty of fresh vegetables for the business.
During idle hours, the owner picks cabbage and lettuce from a nearby field, boasting, "These have never been sprayed with pesticides. Truly organic." Every three to four days, she brings vegetables like spinach or crown daisy from the field to make side dishes, and also brings lettuce and cabbage for wraps. Only seaweed, which is not available from the field, is purchased from the market. The meat is sourced from a livestock slaughterhouse in Jinyang-myeon, Hadong. For Korean beef, she procures Hadong-gun Livestock Cooperative female beef by cut, and pork is brought as whole pigs. The restaurant not only sells pork for grilling but also boils meat for villagers to serve to guests at weddings. The aged kimchi is made at home, stored in a low-temperature warehouse, and served to customers after three years, offering a refreshing taste that is just right.
