Gowon Valley

Gowon Valley is a valley in Buk-myeon, Inje-gun, and is a large valley visible right away when heading from Hangye-samgeori in Seoraksan to Yongdae-ri. It is where the valley waters flowing from Jinburyeong and Misiryeong merge with the Baekdam Valley stream, and features beautiful natural scenery including奇特 rocks and strange stones, clear water revealing the sandy bottom, and dense forests. There is a free camping area next to the valley, making it popular among campers in midsummer. Nearby, there are many places where families can enjoy beautiful natural scenery, such as Daeamsan Yongneup (a wetland where nature and ecology can be experienced), Seoraksan National Park, Yongdae Natural Recreation Forest, and Daeseung Falls.
