Deokdong Valley is a valley that originates from Mt. Baegun (1,087m) and Sipjabong (984.8m) and flows for 5km down to Wondeokdong. Although not as well-known as the nearby Yonghagugok or Songgye Valley, its beautiful rocks, dense forests, and clean water are second to none. The valley is shallow and the water is clear, making it suitable for playing in the water. With its thick forests, it is an ideal summer resort, and it is a hidden summer destination that the people of Jecheon frequently visit. All fishing activities are prohibited in the valley by local residents. Portable toilets and deck paths are installed in several places for the convenience of visitors.
