Han River Paper Airplane Festival

The 2025 Han River Paper Airplane Festival will be held on Sunday, October 19, at Yeouido Hangang Park Nogeumsu Square. The festival, under the concept of 'Whoosh Whoosh Exciting Han River Playground,' consists of a paper airplane flying competition where participants fold and fly paper airplanes on the Han River in autumn, lectures and demonstrations by national paper airplane representatives, and performances and hands-on programs for the whole family to enjoy. Participants for the highlight of the festival, the paper airplane competition, will be recruited online on a first-come, first-served basis, and applications can be submitted through the notice on the Future Han River Headquarters website (https://hangang.seoul.go.kr). On-site registration will not be accepted on the day of the festival, but anyone can enjoy expert demonstrations and hands-on programs even without participating in the competition.
