Why travelers stop here
<2025 Bukchon Day> is a local cultural festival that connects the neighbors and cultural resources of Bukchon. It takes place over ten days from 9/26 (Fri) to 10/5 (Sun) in alignment with <Seoul Hanok Week>, set against the backdrop of Bukchon, a historic and cultural tourism hub today.
As global demand for Korean culture increases, the surge in foreign tourists has brought greater attention to every corner of Bukchon Hanok Village, which has built a century-old tradition. Now, not only the residents of Bukchon but also the consumers and tourists who visit this place are leading the local culture. While there is much interest and foot traffic, issues regarding residents' right to settle and environmental concerns are also emerging.
