Maemuldo refers to the three islands of Daemaemuldo, Somaemuldo, and Deungdaedo (also known as Geulssingi Island) belonging to Maejuk-ri, Hansan-myeon. The coastal cliffs of Somaemuldo and Deungdaedo are spectacular. The main island, Somaemuldo, is a small island with an area of only 2.51㎢ and is administratively part of Maejuk-ri, Hansan-myeon, Tongyeong-si. In addition to Somaemuldo, Daemaemuldo, Hongdo, Deungdaeseom (Haegeumdo), Daegueulbido, and Sogueulbido are all attached islands.
