Why travelers stop here
Mongdol Beach Camping Site is located adjacent to Mongdol Beach in Sinan-gun, Jeollanam-do, and is a beautiful sea camping site on the west coast with a 500-meter private beach of fine sand. The total area is 11,500 m² and consists of 26 general camping zones. The sites are terraced, allowing you to enjoy camping while overlooking the beach. Each site is equipped with individual garden lights, individual outlets, and individual sound speakers, giving you the feeling of being treated like VIPs in the camping world. This place boasts a clean natural environment designated as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. In particular, unlike other west coast beaches, it is not a mudflat but a clear and clean beach, so in summer with clear skies, the seawater is so clear that it appears green. There are several ways to enjoy this clean sea, notably fishing and mudflat experiences. There are about 6 to 7 rock fishing spots, and major fish species include black sea bream, rockfish, flatfish, mullet, and croaker. In the mudflat, you can catch mudskippers and sea crabs.
