Opened in November 1991, Mudeung Gallery is an exhibition space for local artists, hosting solo exhibitions, group exhibitions, and planned exhibitions. It strives to foster cultural development in the community and serves as a cultural space in the Gwangju area. With a deep history as an exhibition venue for traditional groups and associations in Gwangju and Jeonnam, it currently provides exhibition opportunities to artists of various generations and genres through open calls. With the opening of the Miro Center in November 2019, the gallery expanded from 70 pyeong to 100 pyeong of exhibition space.
