Muchangpo Solwon Camping Site

Muchangpo Solwon Camping Site is located near Muchangpo Beach in Ungcheon-eup, Boryeong-si, Chungcheongnam-do. Take the West Coast Expressway to the Muchangpo IC, then enter the farm road at the entrance of the Chungnam Fisheries Research Institute and drive 700 meters to reach the site. Upon entering, a wide pine forest appears, with camping sites set up under the pine trees. The approximately 10,500㎡ site features 32 crushed stone sites for auto camping and 3 wooden decks. Each site is equipped with electrical facilities, and there are 2 male and 2 female restrooms, 1 male and 1 female shower room each, and 2 sinks. A swimming pool operates in summer, and a trampoline that children enjoy is available. The camping site is closed during the winter season from November to February. Nearby attractions include Muchangpo Beach, Boryeong Coal Museum, and the National Institute of Ecology, making it easy to combine sightseeing. There is no store, but butane gas and firewood are sold at the management office. Muchangpo Port is a 3-minute drive or 15-minute walk from the camping site, where various seafood can be purchased. Restaurants and markets are also located near Muchangpo Beach.
