Why travelers stop here
Located next to the main gate of Seoul Children's Grand Park, Gwangnaru Safety Experience Center is Korea's first disaster experience center where ordinary citizens can receive safety education by directly experiencing various disaster situations such as fires, earthquakes, and typhoons in a virtual setting. The center was established as the need arose for virtual disaster experience facilities to cultivate the ability to cope with disasters and enhance safety awareness among unspecified individuals against various disasters and calamities. At Gwangnaru Safety Experience Center, visitors can directly experience various facilities along with explanations from operating personnel (such as firefighters). Online advance reservation is required for participation, and long pants and socks must be worn. Experience is not possible with shorts, skirts, or bare feet.
