Why travelers stop here
Following 2024, the walking event deeply connected with the Han River will be held in more diverse regions at key bases of the Han River water system, including Yeouido in Seoul, Pocheon in Gyeonggi, Gapyeong in Gyeonggi, Chungju in Chungbuk, Yeoju in Gyeonggi, Chuncheon in Gangwon, and Seoul Forest. Participants in the walking event will receive generous souvenirs and a completion medal, and each regional course includes specialized programs harmonizing with the local nature, allowing participants to experience diverse cultural experiences and ecological values firsthand. Additionally, participants will serve as Han River Water System Explorers. The Han River Water System Explorers walk along the Han River waterway in each region, enjoying the rich autumn atmosphere, and are tasked with recording the ecological value and preciousness of the Han River through photos and videos, widely sharing them via social media. This will be a valuable time to spread the beauty of the Han River, raise social interest in nature, and join in a step toward a sustainable future with the Han River. This walking event is not just a movement but a sustainable journey of empathizing with nature and turning it into action. We await everyone's participation in walking along the breath of the Han River, listening to the river's message, and taking steps for the future.
