Destination briefing
Why travelers stop here
A private art museum located in Dugok-ri, Ucheon-myeon. The space, used as the director's studio since 1995, has been partially opened to the public since 2008, displaying some of the museum's collection. The museum is divided into two exhibition halls, each with its own art merchandise. The Birch Forest is divided into a garden, an outdoor stage, and a forest house. The garden refers to all indoor spaces called exhibition halls of the museum, and the outdoor stage is a place where artists interact with the audience through their works. The forest house is a guesthouse where one can quietly relax in the woods. If desired, visitors can enjoy a drink at the studio gallery. (Source: Gangwon Province Office)
