Bangchukdo Suspension Bridge

Bangchukdo Suspension Bridge is a 83m-long pedestrian bridge connecting Bangchukdo Island and Gwangdaedo Island. It is one of four pedestrian bridges linking the five islands of Bangchukdo-Myeongdong-Bonongdo-Maldo, located at the western tip of Seonyudo Island in the Gogunsan Archipelago. The suspension bridge connects the uninhabited Gwangdaedo Island with the inhabited Bangchukdo Island, blending with the camellia forest path and small beach trails, offering good conditions for trekking. From the bridge, you can view the iconic Dokripmunbawi Rock of the Gogunsan Archipelago.

Bangchukdo Island is named for its role as a breakwater, located northwest of the Gogunsan Archipelago. The island's surroundings are rocky, with shallow waters, strong currents, and rough waves, but it provides good conditions for sea fishing, attracting many anglers, especially for catching sea bass.
