Byeongpungsan (Hwacheon)

Byeongpungsan (796m), spanning Dosong-ri and Oeum-ri in Gandong-myeon, Hwacheon-gun, is a mountain that makes you experience the old saying 'sweet after bitter.' The initial ascent is relatively steep and challenging, but once you reach the ridge, you are rewarded with precious gifts created by nature. Byeongpungsan is ideal for a one-day hike; even starting from the very bottom, you can comfortably reach the summit in 3 hours, and descending takes about 4 hours in total.<br>
