Bongmu Park Campground

Bongmu Park Campground is located in Dong-gu, Daegu Metropolitan City. Starting from Daegu City Hall, it takes about 20 minutes via Chilseong Underpass and Bokhyeon Ogeori. This campsite is situated within Bongmu Park, nestled at the foot of Palgongsan Mountain. Bongmu Park is a year-round destination, offering attractions such as the Butterfly Garden where visitors can observe butterflies and caterpillars, the Mugunghwa Garden featuring hibiscus and various trees, and Daegu Water World where you can ride pedal boats. Additionally, there are sports facilities for basketball, foot volleyball, and tennis, as well as a mini climbing wall and playground for children. The campground has a total of 10 sites, and tents set up outside designated sites are subject to forced removal. Most notably, it is free of charge and operates on a first-come, first-served basis without prior reservation. Cooking with fire is allowed, but parking is not permitted; visitors must park in the parking lot and use transport carts provided at the information booth to move their belongings. Bonfires and campfires are prohibited, and the campground is closed during the winter season to prevent forest fires.
