Yeongil Market

Yeongil Market, located in Mullae-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, is an alley-type traditional market specialized in agricultural products. Although it is a market specialized in agricultural products, it also sells items available in general markets such as fish, meat, dried fish, and groceries. Its size was reduced in 2007 due to the removal of street vendors, but even now, nearby restaurants, eateries, supermarkets, and traditional market merchants purchase goods wholesale here. The market is most active between midnight and 4 AM, and it also sells retail. Many stores close after 4 PM. It is approximately 500m from Exit 6 of Mullae Station on Subway Line 2 and about 600m from Exit 6 of Yeongdeungpo Station on Line 1.
