Why travelers stop here
Danha is a brand launched in 2018 by designer Kim Danha. It develops Korean identity through fashion by utilizing patterns, materials, and attire derived from tradition. With designs that encompass both tradition and modernity, it can be worn not only on special occasions but also in everyday life. The brand aims to use eco-friendly fabrics and also works on deconstructing and reprocessing worn hanbok or discarded wedding dresses to rebirth them into more valuable garments. Hanbok can be purchased by visiting the store or through the online shopping mall, and for custom-made hanbok, it is recommended to make a reservation in advance before visiting. Danha is the place that produced the costumes for BLACKPINK's music video <HOW YOU LIKE THAT>, released in 2020. It modified traditional hanbok and, especially by utilizing the bonghwangmuninmunbo pattern, perfectly rebirthed it as stage costumes.
