Formed in the early 1930s around Gullebang Bridge in Bukahyeon-dong, Seodaemun-gu, the stalls moved to an empty lot along Ahyeoncheon Stream in the 1960s, taking on the current market shape. Located in a typical residential area, it thrived until the early 2000s, but its size has been greatly reduced due to the Ahyeon New Town redevelopment project. A dumpling restaurant featured on the TV program <Master of Living> is famous.
