Why travelers stop here
Bonghwasan Neighborhood Park features a 110-pyeong entrance plaza paved with clay bricks, along with a children's playground, traditional play area, residents' health zone, outdoor stage, and rest areas for residents. Additionally, it includes a 630m outer circular walking trail for jogging and strolling around the park, an 800-pyeong grass field at the top of the park, and a dedicated fitness area for the disabled. Furthermore, to provide a resting place for visitors to the Jungnang-gu Office, an artificial waterfall has been created in a location visible from the main gate of the office, and an event plaza has been built in connection with the artificial waterfall to serve as a venue for various outdoor cultural and artistic performances. You can also reach the summit of Bonghwasan Mountain by walking along the hiking trail behind Bonghwasan Neighborhood Park for about 20 to 30 minutes.
