Designated as a Seoul City Tourist Restaurant, a Gangnam-gu exemplary restaurant, and a Jeollabuk-do local cuisine restaurant. Geumgang Surim first opened in Ungpo-myeon, Iksan-si, Jeollabuk-do, and was also designated as a local cuisine restaurant in Iksan-si. Later, in 2009, the restaurant moved to Cheonan and operated for two years, then opened the Yangjae branch following the Cheonan branch. Parking is available for over 200 cars, and it is conveniently connected to Yangjae Station on Subway Line 3. Additionally, private rooms are available for groups of 2 to 30 people, tailored to the purpose of the gathering. The representative menu items include grilled eorini (eel bulgogi), marinated crab, spicy fish stew (bok-tang), and spicy braised fish (bok-jiri). The eel used is only the native Korean freshwater eel species, Japonica.
