Itaewon Usadan-gil

Usadan-gil is a place where Korean sentiment and exotic atmosphere blend together. Restaurants from Pakistan, Turkey, Egypt, Lebanon, India, and other countries, signs written in Arabic, and foreigners wearing hijabs and turbans create a strong exotic ambiance, while the old houses and alleys form a tightly knit residential area that preserves Korean sentiment and atmosphere. Since the early 2010s, young artists and youth entrepreneurs have moved into Usadan-gil, creating unique spaces.
