Wondumak

Wondumak is a charcoal-grilled rib specialty restaurant located in Sinjeong-dong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul. Situated near Omokgyo Station on Subway Line 5, it features a spacious parking lot that can accommodate over 100 vehicles simultaneously. The restaurant interior is also large, making it suitable for family gatherings or group dinners. Signature menu items include pork ribs, beef ribs, and a Korean beef assorted grill. The restaurant is also famous for its tofu and soft tofu made daily from 100% organic soybeans. The meat, grilled on a copper griddle over a charcoal brazier, offers a unique flavor. Lunch menu options include cheonggukjang (fermented soybean paste stew) and soft tofu. Other dishes such as barley rice and octopus set meal, bossam (boiled pork wrap), and yukhoe bibimbap (raw beef mixed rice) are also available. There are individual rooms decorated like a traditional straw hut (wondumak) and seats with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Mok-dong. Nearby parks include Sincheong Children's Park, Yangcheon Park, Silgaecheon Ecological Park, and Anyangcheon Family Park, making it a great spot for a post-meal walk.
