Jeongdaepo

This is a famous restaurant specializing in grilled pork skirt meat (galmaegisal) located in the Mapo Galmaegi meat alley near Gongdeok Station in Mapo-gu, Seoul. It serves galmaegisal, salted grilled meat, pork ribs, and samgyeopsal. While grilling the meat, you can also make steamed eggs on the edge of the grill. The thickly sliced galmaegisal is full of juices, and the chewy texture of the well-cooked skin is said to naturally call for a drink. It comes with a spicy soy sauce containing cheongyang chili peppers, gochujang, and scallion salad, which you can mix and match to your taste.
