Sanchon

서울특별시 종로구 인사동길 30-13 (관훈동)

Destination briefing

Why travelers stop here

‘Sanchon’ is a temple cuisine restaurant opened by Jeongsan, the representative of Sanchon, inspired by the temple cuisine he learned during his years as a monk. It is a place where you can enjoy natural flavors without using chemical seasonings, using vegetables and wild greens that grow deep in the mountains as main ingredients. The menu includes Sanchon set meal, alcoholic beverages, and tea. The Sanchon set meal changes slightly depending on the seasonal herbs used. Although Buddhist cuisine does not use the five pungent vegetables (garlic, green onion, wild chive, leek, and asafoetida), Sanchon uses these ingredients to suit the tastes of ordinary people. However, if you do not want them, you can order a day in advance and they will prepare the food separately. Parking is not available, so you must use a nearby paid parking lot.
